Our after school enrichment programs are provided for families who enjoy the convenience of readily available enrichment in a familiar and trusted setting.

After school enrichment are subject to change due to changing student community interests and the availability of local experts, staff members, and/or trained parent volunteers.

Recent after school enrichments currently include:

MathCounts - (ages 10-14) Have fun with your friends doing math!  Students try different methods of solving a variety of math problems.  A team of 4 students is selected midwinter to participate in the MathCounts event at Youngstown State University with other local school teams.

Suzuki Violin - (ages 5 and up) Master Suzuki violin teacher Gina Bagnoli provides group or individual violin instruction in the Suzuki Method. Students provide their own instruments. $

Sign Language Club - A student-run/adult supervised activity. Students meet to learn and practice sign language. This group performs occasionally at MSMV events such as the Evening of Thanks.

Theatre Club - This club is open to students in grades 3 and above. Students rehearse during the school year for late-May performances. Performances take place at the Fairview Arts and Outreach Center in Youngstown. Past shows include The Lion King Jr, Willy Wonka Jr, and Alice in Wonderland Jr.

Speech and Debate - A national acedemic honor society sport that provides children opportunities to develop critical thinking skills and become more effective in a variety of speaking situations Speech and Debate encourages willingness to receive feedback and constructive criticism, and helps develop professional social skills, grit, and composure when challenged. Speech and Debate is open to students in grades 6-8.
