Visit

The enrollment process begins with an adults-only observation visit. This visit allows you to see our facility, experience the dynamics of the Montessori classroom, and address any questions or concerns you may have. You will have the opportunity to spend some time in the Montessori environment, observing the materials, the lessons, the children, etc. Then, you’ll meet with our Executive Director and discuss what you saw in the classroom, any additional questions you have, and the next step in the application process.

MSMV schedules classroom observations starting mid-October for enrollment the following Spring or Fall.

Apply

If you wish to pursue enrollment, you should complete an application (included in the information packet you’ll receive during your first visit) and return it to the school with a $35.00 processing fee.

Once we have received your application and payment, you will be contacted to schedule an appointment for another visit – this time for both you and your child. During this visit, a teacher will work with your child to assess developmental and behavioral readiness. Please note that this evaluation is not a “pass/fail” situation, but an opportunity to get to know your child and to assess your child’s needs. We would like to be sure our program can meet the needs of your child. While your child is in the classroom, you will be meeting with our Executive Director.

After the visit is completed, a follow-up letter will be sent. Acceptance is subject to available enrollment openings, and on the educational program’s compatibility for the child according to the level at which he or she would be entering. A Waiting Pool will be established when there are more applicants than openings available.

Once your child is accepted, a non-refundable, advanced tuition payment of 10% of the gross tuition, along with a signed agreement and other necessary paperwork will be required in order to enroll. Your child’s spot will be secured with receipt of the fee.

If you have any questions regarding the application process, please feel free to contact the office.
